Extended In-Home Care provides up to approximately two hours with your pet in their own home when their routine or individual needs call for more time than a standard Drop-In Visit.

How it goes
More time, without an overnight stay
Think of this as the space between a regular Drop-In Visit and House Sitting.
It’s for situations where the important part isn’t simply getting through a short checklist, but having enough time to properly follow a more involved routine.
The care itself is agreed around your animal rather than packaged into a generic two-hour schedule.
When overnight presence at home is the better fit, House Sitting may be more appropriate.
Dogs and cats
Extended In-Home Care is available for both dogs and cats.
What we do with that time depends on the animal, their normal routine and what we’ve agreed beforehand.
The point is more appropriate time, not finding extra tasks simply to fill it.
Pricing
Dogs — from $80 CAD
Cats — from $60 CAD
These are starting rates. Final pricing depends on the required time, routine and level of care.
Care requested less than 24 hours before the visit begins is charged at 2× the applicable rate.

I’m based in Griffintown. Extended In-Home Care may also be available in nearby Montréal neighbourhoods depending on the exact location, schedule, travel time and your pet’s needs.

You'll hear from me, not an automated system. I send personal updates with photos and details about how your pet is doing, what we've been up to and anything useful I noticed during our time together.

A standard Drop-In Visit is usually 30–45 minutes. Extended In-Home Care is intended for pets whose routine requires substantially more time.
No. Extended In-Home Care is a longer visit, not an overnight stay.
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Payment can be made by Interac e-Transfer or cash.
If you need to cancel, please give me at least 12 hours' notice before the scheduled service begins. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Late cancellations may be subject to applicable charges where permitted.
Not always, but I strongly recommend a free Meet & Greet before care begins. It usually takes about 30–45 minutes and gives us time to go through your pet's routine, personality and anything else I should know. In some cases, I may ask to meet your pet before confirming care when compatibility, anxiety, behaviour, size or other individual circumstances need to be assessed.
If I cannot access your home or reach your pet at the agreed time because the necessary key, fob, code or other access was not provided or does not work, the scheduled service is still chargeable.
Yes. If your pet requires medication during care, please provide the medication together with clear instructions for the dosage, timing and method of administration. I can administer oral, topical and intramuscular medications, but I do not administer intravenous medication. I follow the medication instructions you provide and do not independently change dosages or treatment instructions. Checking expiration dates and providing medication that has not expired remains the client's responsibility.
Before care begins, please provide your veterinarian or veterinary clinic information, an emergency contact, and current contact information for yourself. If I notice something that appears to require urgent attention, I will make a reasonable effort to contact you first. If you cannot be reached and I reasonably believe your pet requires immediate veterinary attention, I may contact your veterinarian, an emergency veterinary clinic or your designated emergency contact rather than delay necessary care.
